TOKIGEON(DEMO)
A downloadable game for Windows
A long, long time ago, explorers discovered a dungeon in a desolate land. When they entered to explore, they encountered a large number of monsters. In the end, they were no match for the monsters in the tower and fell one by one. However, when they woke up, they found themselves unscathed, lying at the entrance of the tower.
After multiple attempts to explore, they found that the situation remained the same. Later, they named the tower after the first explorer who discovered it, calling it the "TOKIGEON" and publicized it to the world. This attracted countless adventurers to come and explore.
Welcome to TOKIGEON.
TOKIGEON is a rogue-like dungeon crawler game that combines puzzle, deck-building, and auto-battler mechanics.
Gameplay
In TOKIGEON, each skill is a puzzle piece. You need to place your skill puzzle pieces on the skill board. When you attack, the skills will cast in the order they are placed on the board. The final damage is calculated by multiplying the weapon damage with the damage from all the skills on the skill board.
Skill Combination
When you obtain three identical skills, they will combine in a manner similar to other auto-battler games. The combination will reward you with a rarer skill.
About the demo:
This demo offers the core gameplay of TOKIGEON and provides a 50-levels experience. In this demo, you will encounter over 100 skills, more than 50 artifacts, over 50 magics, and various monsters and events.
Future Plans:
In our future development plans, we aim to provide more content, including but not limited to:
- 4 or more types of weapons (each with at least 26 skills).
- A larger public skill pool (estimated to be double the current size).
- A 100-levels base level.
- An endless mode.
- An external progression system.
- More artifacts and magics.
- A more diverse range of game mechanics.
We hope to offer over 40 hours of gameplay content in the full version.
About Arts:
Currently, this project is being developed by an individual, and I have focused more on gameplay and mechanics. As a result, the art style may not be as polished. In the future, I will strive to provide a more cohesive art style.
If you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to share them in the comments. I will listen and try my best to improve.
I hope you enjoy my game. Thank you!
Beginner's Guide:
If you're just starting out, I would recommend initially focusing on sword skills and sword linkage skills. This will ensure that you can deal a certain baseline amount of damage early on, which will help you acquire key skills or artifacts.
Once you have a solid baseline of damage, you can then build your deck around your core skills or artifacts. One of the easiest core artifacts to obtain early on is the Bloody Sword. The Bloody Sword increases the damage of all skills on the board by +0.5 whenever you take damage. To take full advantage of this effect, you can use sword skills like Fierce Attack and Flame Blood Sword to take minor amounts of damage, thereby boosting the damage of all skills on the board for high output.
